Great study!

This is a great study on a biblical view of loving. Cynthia filled it with great verses, quotes, and topics that really make you think about how YOU love others. I had to take it slowly so that each section could sink in.
I would recommend this to anyone. Christian, non-Christian, it doesn't matter. This book still has practical lessons on loving others that anyone could benefit from. Check this book out! It will be worth it. :)

Another wonderful Heald book

Cynthia Heald's book, "Becoming a Woman Who Loves," is my second Heald book. The first book I did was for a group Bible study; this one I did on my own. Heald's writing style is wonderful for both- she challenges the reader to dive into scripture to mold their life style. This 11-week study will change me far beyond this time frame. The size of the book is not daunting, but still each chapter is covered well through the use of scripture, quotations from other authors, and deep questions posed to the reader. At the end of each chapter Heald describes what the message of the chapter has taught her and how it has affected her life. She does not boast, but shows the reader that only through Jesus can these goals be accomplished. Like many Navigator's books, she too asks the reader to memorize a verse weekly that ties in with the lesson.
The book, although all about love, covers many diverse topics from forgiveness, imparting love, where love comes from, among many others. The chapters of this book are: The Supremacy of Love, A New Commandment, The Source of Love, Bearing Fruit, The Character of Love, Loving the Saints, Love in Action, Love Forgives, Love Reconciles, Loving Words, and Love Never Fails.

Great study. You can do bits and pieces and feel fed and satisfied from God's word. The scripture references are easy to remember, making it easy to apply them to your life on a daily basis.
