A Mish Mash of Science and Argumentation

Should White British be considered an indigenous people? And if so, does mass immigration of non-whites threaten their rights according to standards the United Nations uses for other peoples?
In Four Flags, Arthur Kemp analyzes the DNA of English, Scottish, and Welsh to determine if they have dwelled as long in Britain as other groups the UN deems indigenous such as the Maori of New Zealand.
Although I agree with Kemp’s conclusions, I think he could have argued his points a little more effectively. His conclusions seem to skip a jump from his evidence. He should have been more explicit with his argumentation.
He commits a faux pas by claiming that “the word genocide literally means the death of genes.” (The people who coined it weren’t exactly thinking of SNPs.)
He overgeneralizes about R1a being an Anglo Saxon haplotype. Elsewhere identifies it as quintessentially Viking even though he previously deems I1 as the Viking haplotype. He should have simply said that R1a and I1 come from both Vikings and Saxons.
Also, appealing to the United Nations’ sense of justice seems futile because its notions of indigenous rights were originally intended to protect nonwhites from whites and not vice versa. Now that nonwhites are capable of pushing whites out of their native lands, the UN will happily plead for the historical context of the term to be used to define it in such a way as to exclude White Europeans from its protections. This is one area where liberals like original intent. However, I’m glad the Indo-Europeans didn’t respect the territorial claims of the aboriginal Europeans whom they conquered. Although I think he makes a good point about the UN being hypocritical and anti-white, he shouldn't look to it for justification. Nevertheless it was helpful how he revealed its double standard regarding protecting the rights of indigenous peoples.
He uses plain technical terms for Y haplotypes and mitochondrial DNA, which is actually refreshing in light of how one author, Bryan Sykes, uses ridiculous “clan member” names in place of each of them in an effort to conjure up an image of an ancestor who probably contributed only a minority of the person’s phenotypic expression. I also appreciated how Kemp lists the various R1b subclades and the areas in England where they are most common. Regarding R1b overall he holds the mainstream view that its bearers resided in northern Spain during the ice age and subsequently travelled north. Also, evidence from archeological sites provides a few interesting case studies of genetic history.
There is hope for the book if some editor could divide it into two, rework some of the verbiage, and iron out the argumentation. In the meantime, if you’re a genes nerd I’d recommend the book because it summarizes things well.
